Equine Heart in the Sunland/Tujunga 4th of July Parade

EquineHeart's Art came to life on the 4th of July as I rode Lynn dressed as one of my equine creations. Lynn is the pony every little girl dreams of having. I captured and brought the little girls dream into fruition by adorning the little white pony in colorful flowers and streaking her mane and tail with bright pink dye. On top of that, her hooves were polished pink and the color faded into her legs. And of course, the picture would not be complete without a Flower Princess onboard the Princess Pony!
I have been training Lynn for 5 months and broke her under saddle. New Heaven on Earth Ranch (a non for profit  company that helps low income children learn to ride and bring joy to their life) hired me to train her and use my artistic talents to publicize their company in the parade. She has been the easiest horse/pony I have ever worked with but she is not a dull creature by any means. She is simply the most patient and understanding pony that truly embodies all the qualities of a princess! She even keeps her stall tidy!

Ms Racing Queen Pageant

This past week I was lucky enough to be a part of the Ms Racing Queen pageant funded by Frank Stronach. Frank Stronach owns SantaAnita and Gulfstream Park as well as Magna International.  I met many important people in the racing industry from Kathy Ritvo, to Angel Cordero, to Keith Brackpool and of course Frank Stronach himself.  After a dinner with Stronach he decided he would like to purchase my painting Soulmates. I am very excited about this sale and I hope this is the start of a new era in my life.
